How the Cleaning Process Works

You can start the cleaning program simply by pressing a button.

Phase 1: Cleaning
The brewing unit and brewing filter are thoroughly rinsed with water at 80 °C. The highly effective formula of the cleaning tablet removes coffee fat and oil residues that can compromise the taste and quality of the coffee.

Phase 2: Maintenance
In a second phase—the maintenance phase—special active ingredients seal the surfaces of the relevant components, thereby preventing coffee residues and oils from re-adhering.

NEW Phase 3: Protection
In the newly developed third phase, so-called complexing agents provide long-lasting protection for the fully automatic coffee machine against mineral deposits.
